Monday’s World Cup Treble Tip

In seven games at Euro 2020, England allowed just two goals and won four of those games by a score of 0 to 0. They take on an Iran team that has only scored three goals in its last two World Cup appearances after winning seven of their World Cup qualifying matches to nil.

One of the top teams traveling to Qatar is the Netherlands, who have gone unbeaten in their last 15 contests. However, the Dutch have only kept two clean sheets in their last eight contests, and they may find it difficult to do so against Senegal’s skillful offense. As a result, a victory for the Orange with both teams scoring seems more likely.

In their most recent Nations League campaign, the Welsh have dropped their last three games and five of their last six contests. Because the Dragons have given up in 10 of their last 11 games and the US team is strong defensively and well-equipped to thwart the threat of a Welsh counterattack, back the USA to win.

Triple Cross-Sport Tip

In a challenging South American campaign leading up to the tournament, Ecuador had their highest scoring season ever, tallying 27 goals over 18 games. Almoez Ali can score for Qatar, but in 18 games against teams ranked in the top 50, they have given up 33 goals. Back goals in this match because 17 goals have been scored in the last four World Cup openers combined.

On this Western road trip, the Knicks have won two of their three games, including victories over the Jazz and Denver Nuggets. The Suns have only won once in their previous four games and have allowed 143 points in a loss to the Jazz last time out. Support the Knicks to at least maintain the tension.

Both of these teams’ head coaches are in their first season and are making mistakes, but the Broncos’ issues could be worse. The Broncos have only won one of their last six games despite playing a respectable schedule and having a solid defense. Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams are playmakers for the Raiders, and they have the potential to win the game.

Top Scorer at the 2022 World Cup Outsider Pick

Another one of our predictions for Qatar is the Netherlands, and Memphis Depay will be crucial to their future success.

The 28-year-old scored 12 goals and had six assists in ten games during the World Cup qualifying process, giving him 21 goals overall in 22 appearances for his country since the start of 2021.

The Barcelona forward hasn’t featured since a September UEFA Nations League match against Poland due to an injury, but he is reportedly close to returning to full fitness and should be rested for Qatar.

Tip for the World Cup’s Golden Ball

In his final round of the competition, Messi has a chance to make history by becoming the first player to win this honor twice. Expect him to receive a large number of votes as he leaves the international stage if his Argentina side can remain in Qatar through the final match. His stellar play can lead him to another Best Player Award at the World Cup with his 11 goals and 14 assists through 17 PSG games in the league and Champions League.

Request a betting tip for the FST World Cup 2022

Despite their misstep in Russia, the Albiceleste have recovered and developed a spirit that was frequently lacking in the past. Scaloni appears content to position his team to counter any potential defensive weaknesses. His attacking options are excellent, and his team appears to be at least as strong as the one that came agonizingly close to winning in 2014. Additionally, top player Lionel Messi has been in superb form recently with national team member Paris Saint-Germain.

Last year, as he helped Argentina win the Copa America, Lionel Messi shared the tournament’s top-scoring honors.

This season, he has contributed to PSG with 12 goals and 14 assists while also turning in some of his best international performances to date. With nine goals in his last three international contests, Messi now has 19 goals in 22 games since the start of 2022. In a 5-0 thrashing of Estonia in June, Messi scored all five goals.

Even though England’s supporters aren’t overly optimistic about going to Qatar, they do have the impression that the draw was in their favor. There is cause to believe Gareth Southgate’s team can advance to the round of four after reaching the semifinals in 2018 and the Euro final the previous year.

In three of Ronaldo’s four World Cup finals appearances, he has scored exactly one goal (and two in the other), and Portugal has many other options if they decide not to start their star player. The recent outburst by Cristiano, who is arguably in the worst shape of his life, doesn’t look good. His recent home problems could very well be repeated on the international scene in the upcoming weeks.

2022 World Cup Top Scorer Prediction

Last year, as he helped Argentina win the Copa America, Lionel Messi shared the tournament’s top scoring honors.

This season, he has contributed to PSG with 12 goals and 14 assists while also turning in some of his best international performances to date.

With nine goals in his previous three international contests, Messi now has 19 goals in 22 appearances since the start of 2022. In a 5-0 hammering of Estonia in June, Messi scored all five goals.

Outright World Cup 2022 Winner Dark Horse Prediction

Uruguay has a stellar record in 2022, winning all four of their qualifiers and going undefeated in three pre-tournament friendlies. The South Americans have put together a talented team that includes Edinson Cavani, Luis Suarez, Darwin Nunez, Diego Godin, Jose Gimenez, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Federico Valverde. Portugal are one of the more favorable top seeds to face in the Group Stage.

The Ultimate Bet Builder Tip for Qatar vs. Ecuador

During Qatar’s successful Asian Cup campaign in 2019, Almoez Ali set a tournament record with nine goals. He scored those goals with just 10 shots on goal in total, demonstrating his excellent form. Back him to score the opening goal after he scored four goals in five games at the Gold Cup last year.

Pervis Estupinan will provide assistance

During World Cup qualification, Brighton defender Estupinan generated 22 chances, the most of any defender. This season, he has presented a threat to the Seagulls, averaging 1.57 expected assists and 1.8 critical passes per game. The Qatari team sets up with a fairly tight middle, making Estupinan difficult to follow, therefore the wing-back should be perfectly situated to hurt them.

To be carded is Moises Caicedo

In qualification, Caicedo received five cautions, and so far this season, he’s been a physical presence for Brighton. The midfielder has had a warning in five of his past seven games for the Seagulls, so I’m betting on him to receive a card in this match.

Golden Glove & Golden Ball FST Double Tip

Achieving this feat twice would make Lionel Messi the first player to ever do so, which feels very Messi-like.

Given that a dominant Germany team won that tournament, Messi’s victory in 2014 didn’t sit well with everyone. But it’s simple to imagine the Argentine legend winning a sizable number of votes in what will probably be his last appearance at the sport’s premier competition.

The best goalkeeper from the World Cup may play for Aston Villa when they resume play in December. Martinez has clinched a starting position for his country and lines up behind a defense that has allowed just eight goals through 17 games in the World Cup’s most difficult qualifying region. Argentina is expected to advance far in the competition, which is the only way goalkeepers typically receive the Golden Glove award.

Outsider pick for the World Cup 2022 outright winner

The Dutch have won six of their eight games this year, including victories at home and away against a strong Belgian team. That established them as strong contenders for the 2022 World Cup, particularly after the draw. When the Dutch landed in Qatar, they avoided the top teams from Pot 1. Their main competition in Group A is Senegal, with Ecuador probably not posing much of a threat. The Dutch have a great chance to gain some momentum, and with a seasoned, successful coach in charge, they appear to be excellent value at 12/1 to win the championship.

Top Scorer at the 2022 World Cup Longshot Prediction

Aleksandar Mitrovic has dispelled any concerns about his ability to succeed in the top division following a record-breaking Championship season in 2021/22.

The 28-year-old Fulham player has nine goals in 12 Premier League appearances, and he has consistently performed at his peak when leading the Serbian attack.

He has a sensational 50 goals in 76 international appearances and scored four goals as Serbia defeated Sweden and Norway during the most recent international break. In his 15 appearances since the beginning of 2021, he has scored 14 of those goals, and he will be confident of success against Cameroon and Switzerland in Group G.

Tip for the World Cup 2022 Outright Winner

Despite their misstep in Russia, the Albiceleste have recovered and developed a spirit that was frequently lacking in the past. Scaloni appears content to position his team to confront any potential defensive deficiencies. His attacking options are excellent, and his team appears to be at least as powerful as the one that came agonizingly close to winning in 2014. Additionally, top player Lionel Messi has been in superb form recently with national team member Paris Saint-Germain.

Accumulator Tip for the World Cup Group Stages

Senegal, the defending African champion, was one of the strongest teams in the third pot, but they were paired with a weak Qatari team and an Ecuadorian team that appears a little too inexperienced to have much of an impact on this tournament.

The USA has a young, talented team and will aim for a strong performance before hosting in 2026. Their previous performance saw them advance to the round of 16, and they have since improved.

Mexico has a history of losing in the round of 16, and it’s difficult to have much confidence in a Polish team that finished last in its 2021 Euros group.

The Danes advanced to the semifinals of the Euros, and it is difficult to imagine them losing early against Tunisia and one of the UAE, Australia, or Peru.

Croatia is the favorite to advance from this group, but they have an aging team that performed poorly at the Euros. Morocco, meanwhile, placed last in their group in 2018. Given this, an improving Canada team could emerge as a surprise in the round of 16.

Serbia has attacking talent enough to prevail over Cameroon and Switzerland thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic and Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

Group Winners Accumulator Tip for the World Cup

The Netherlands travel to Qatar in fine shape and with a team that is talented on every level. Since being eliminated from Euro 2020 the previous year, they have gone undefeated and won 11 of their 15 games, including two victory over Belgium.

The group Louis van Gaal’s team was placed in included the host nation and tournament debutants Qatar, the unimpressive Ecuador, and a Senegal team that might be without key midfielder Sadio Mane.

Despite not being in the best of form right now, England has the ability to defeat three opponents in Group B who, although not poor teams, do not have the same level of individual brilliance as England.

Wales and the USA both have standout players at their disposal, but both teams have had recent struggles, with Wales losing four of their last five games and the USA failing to score in friendlies against Japan and Saudi Arabia in September. Iran could come as a shock, but it would require a tremendous effort to defeat any team and gain first place.

Argentina, who is our main pick to win the World Cup, should have no trouble taking the top spot in Group C. Prior to this competition, the 2021 Copa America champions had not lost in more than three years and had won 12 of their previous 15 games.

While Poland hasn’t advanced past the Group Stage since 1986 and Saudi Arabia is a lock to finish last, Mexico are an experienced but aging team.

Although France are heavy favorites to win Group D, there’s a good potential that Euro 2020 underdog Denmark will edge them out, especially because the Danes have defeated the World Cup champions twice in the past six months.

France is dealing with injury issues while France has won five of their last seven games. Raphael Varane is a serious question mark at least for the beginning of the tournament, while N’Golo Kante, Paul Pogba, and other players are absent. Australia and Tunisia are unlikely to pose a threat elsewhere.

In Group E, the two European powerhouses Germany and Spain face off, and I’m backing the seasoned Germans to defeat the vivacious youth of Spain.

Hansi Flick has access to talent all across the field, including seasoned pros like Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Muller and young guns like Jamal Musiala. Spain has a lot of talent as well, but they lack choices up front and find it difficult to break down defenses without Alvaro Morata performing at his best.

The golden generation of Belgian footballers may have one more chance to win World Cup glory with this tournament, so they should start strong by winning Group F.

Croatia, which relies heavily on the 37-year-old Luka Modric and has a dearth of skill up front, is their only true rival for first place and has won three of their previous five games.

Brazil could easily win Group G due to its abundance of quality on the international stage and its exceptional performance in the run-up to the World Cup.

They have won 12 of their past 15 games and are unbeaten since their loss at the Copa America last year. Prior to Cameroon, Serbia and Switzerland are anticipated to compete for second place, but neither team has the talent to compete with Brazil should Tite’s team find their rhythm.

Portugal are the group’s top seeds, but one of our World Cup underdogs, Uruguay, might shock everyone.

In the lead-up to this tournament, Portugal lost to Switzerland and Spain and only won one of their three group games at Euro 2021. In contrast, Uruguay has won seven of their nine games in 2022 and has a deceptively strong team with players like Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani, Darwin Nunez, Federico Valverde, Rodrigo Bentancur, Diego Godin, and Jose Gimenez.

Bet of the Day Tip

Ecuador recorded their best ever scoring campaign on the way to the tournament, scoring 27 times across 18 matches during a tough South American campaign. Qatar have scoring threat through Almoez Ali, but they’ve conceded 33 times in 18 meetings with sides in the top 50. The last four World Cup openers have seen a total of 17 goals scored, so back goals in this clash.

Bet to Net Best Bet Tip

Almoez Ali scored a competition record nine goals during Qatar’s victorious Asian Cup campaign in 2019. He was in clinical form, scoring those from just 10 total shots on target. He scored four goals in five at the Gold Cup last year, so back him to strike in the opener.

England vs Iran Ultimate Bet Builder Tip

England may be in poor form but they face an Iran side that have only won two World Cup games in their history, losing nine of their 16 ties in the competition and coming up against a Three Lions side that reached the semi-final four years ago.

England conceded just twice as they reached the Euro 2020 final last summer and they won seven of their World Cup qualifiers without conceding, while Iran have scored just three times in their last two World Cup campaigns.

Harry Kane to score anytime

Harry Kane won the Golden Boot in Russia four years ago and scored four times in Euro 2020. He has scored 12 Premier League goals already this season and heads to Qatar in fine form.

Sadegh Moharrami to be shown a card

Sadegh Moharrami was booked four times in Iran’s World Cup qualifying campaign and has been carded five times in ten Champions League appearances for Dinamo Zagreb this season. He will face off against Raheem Sterling, who was fouled 14 times in seven World Cup qualifiers for England.

Alireza Jahanbakhsk to be shown a card

Alireza Jahanbakhsh will have to help out Moharrami as Luke Shaw and Raheem Sterling team up on the left and he was booked four times in Iran’s World Cup qualifiers, averaging a card every 243 minutes.

Monday’s Correct Score Double Tip

The US won 1-0 in five of their six Gold Cup games last year, while they conceded just 10 times in 14 matches in qualifying for the tournament. The Welsh have conceded at least once in 10 of their last 11 games and despite their counter-attacking approach they’re likely to concede again.

Six of England’s Euro 2020 games produced fewer than three goals and seven of Iran’s last eight at the World Cup have been low scoring. Iran’s last competitive defeat was a 2-0 defeat to South Korea.

Monday’s World Cup Bet to Net Treble Tip

Harry Kane won the Golden Boot at the last World Cup and scored four at Euro 2020. He has scored 12 Premier League goals so far this season and has scored 19 international goals since the start of 2021, topping the scoring charts in World Cup qualifying.

Steven Bergwijn has eight goals in 14 league games for Ajax this season, including an effort in his final game before heading off to Qatar, and also has two goals in his last six games for his country so back him to trouble Senegal’s defence.

McKennie has scored in two of his last three games for Juventus and he can threaten from deep against a Welsh side who will look to shut down the US forward line with a backs-to-the-wall performance.

World Cup Round 1 Mega Accumulator Tip

Louis van Gaal’s side head to Qatar unbeaten in 15 games and have won 11 of those, including impressive victories over Denmark, Belgium (twice) and Poland. They can kickstart their World Cup campaign with three points on Monday.

The USA have the youngest squad in the tournament and an extremely solid defence that should be well equipped to deal with the Welsh counter-attacks. Wales, slight underdogs in this tie, have lost four of their last five games and could make it five from six in Al-Rayyan.

Argentina are unbeaten in an incredible 35 games stretching back over three years and they have kept clean sheets in six of their last seven. Underdogs Saudi Arabia have failed to score in all three clashes with South American sides this year and could be on the end of a thrashing on Wednesday.

The Danes have scored at least twice in six of their last eight games and have beaten reigning world champions and Group D rivals France twice during this period. With Tunisia shipping two or more in five of their last seven World Cup ties, expect the favourites to bag a couple.

Spain have won seven of their last ten games heading to Qatar and have kept clean sheets in five of those victories. Costa Rica have failed to score in three of their last four World Cup ties.

Canada failed to score a single goal and lost all three games in their only previous World Cup appearance back in 1986 and they have lost to Honduras and Uruguay in their last four outings. Belgium won six of their seven games in the 2018 World Cup and they haven’t lost to a non-European side since a slender defeat to Argentina in the 2014 World Cup.

Serbia lost two of their three group games in Russia and now come up against a Brazil side in sensational form. They haven’t lost a game since their Copa America Final defeat to Argentina last year and have won 12 of their 15 matches since, scoring 38 goals and conceding just five.

Uruguay have an extremely talented squad that seems to be flying under the radar a bit, with Edinson Cavani, Luis Suarez, Darwin Nunez, Rodrigo Bentancur, Federico Valverde and Jose Gimenez among them. They won all three group games in 2018 and only came undone against eventual winners France.

Senegal vs Netherlands Bet Builder Tip

Netherlands are unbeaten in 15 games and have won seven of their last nine, while Senegal are without star player Sadio Mane after the Bayern Munich attacker was injured.

Netherlands have only kept two clean sheets in their last eight games and, even without Mane, Senegal have a talented attack. They have sored in 11 of their last 12 matches.

Steven Bergwijn to score anytime

Steven Bergwijn has eight goals in 14 league games for Ajax this season, including an effort in his final game before heading off to Qatar, and also has two goals in his last six games for his country so back him to trouble Senegal’s defence.

Cody Gakpo to score or assist

Cody Gakpo has scored in his last two starts for Netherlands and has been in sensational form for his club this season, contributing 29 goals and assists in 23 appearances for PSV.

Steven Berghuis 1+ shot on target

Steven Berghuis averaged 1.35 shots on target per 90 minutes for Netherlands in World Cup qualifying and has hit the target 11 times in his last nine appearances for Ajax.

Monday’s World Cup Both Teams to Score Best Bet Tip

The Netherlands are one of the form teams heading to Qatar and they are unbeaten in their last 15 games. However, the Dutch have only managed two clean sheets in their last eight games and may struggle to keep a shut out against Senegal’s talented attack.

Monday’s World Cup BTTS & Win Best Bet Tip

USA vs Wales Bet Builder Tip

The Dragons have conceded in 10 of their last 11 games and they face a US side who are strong defensively and equipped to stop the Welsh counter-attacking threat, so back a victory for the USA.

Aaron – Uruguay have won six of their last eight games at the World Cup and South Korea have lost six of their last nine, despite their shock victory over Germany in the last World Cup.

Liam – Switzerland have reached the knockout stage in three of the last four World Cups and finished above Italy in qualification for this instalment. They have won three games in a row and face a Cameroon side who are 43rd in the FIFA world rankings.

Ian – Croatia have taken wins over France and Denmark in the Nations League recently and have a solid blend of youth and experience. Morocco lack recent experience against top teams and could struggle against the 2018 finalists.

Ecuador have won just eight of their last 11 matches, while Qatar have won in only three of the last 18 games in which they’ve faced a top 50 side in the world. In the modern era the host nation has never lost an opener, but no debutant has won their opener tournament game since 2002.

Almoez Ali scored a competition record nine goals during Qatar’s victorious Asian Cup campaign in 2019. He was in clinical form, scoring those from just 10 total shots on target. He scored four goals in five at the Gold Cup last year, so back him to strike in the opener.

Pervis Estupinan to make an assist

Brighton defender Estupinan created 22 chances during World Cup qualifying, the most of any defender. He has looked like a threat for the Seagulls this term with 1.57 expected assists, making 1.8 key passes per game. The wing-back should be perfectly positioned to hurt a Qatar side which lines up with a very narrow midfield, making Estupinan hard to track.

Moises Caicedo to be carded

Caicedo picked up five bookings in qualifying and he’s been a physical presence for Brighton so far this term. The midfielder heads into the tournament having been cautioned in five of his last seven for the Seagulls, so I’m backing him to see a card in this clash.
